October at KOKO Dance Academy: Community Highlights & Upcoming Events

Welcome to KOKO Dance Academy! September has been an amazing month at KOKO Dance Academy! We’ve welcomed lots of new dancers alongside returning members, creating a buzzing, friendly community full of energy.

KOKO Committee – Building Our Community Our brand new KOKO Committee is helping make our shows even more magical for the kids. They’re slowly building a costume wardrobe so dancers feel extra special during performances, while also supporting parents with costs. This initiative is just one way we strengthen our KOKO family and involve parents in our creative journey.

Spotlight on Teachers and Students We’re celebrating Emma 🌟, who joined our teens class in 2023, quickly became a teaching assistant, and is now a fully-fledged teacher. Her dedication and love for teaching perfectly reflect the supportive spirit of our academy.

Upcoming Events in October

• Spooky Week – 20th to 25th October 👻 A week of Halloween-themed fun! Children are welcome to dress up in their favourite costumes, and optional donations will go towards our show funds and costume wardrobe to make performances extra magical.
  

• Performance Team at The O2 – 12th October 🎤 Our talented Performance Team will take the stage at The O2 Indigo in London, performing in front of over 1,000 spectators. It’s an incredible opportunity to showcase the hard work, dedication, and teamwork our students put into their performances.
  

Join the KOKO Community At KOKO, we offer a range of kids’ dance classes, including Acro, Ballet, Street Dance, Lyrical, Contemporary and Theatre School.
