Get Ready for Our Summer Show: A Great Experience for All!

As we approach the registration deadline for our Summer Show, I’m excited to share not only what’s in store for this year but also the fantastic feedback from last year’s event. I recently asked for your thoughts through a parent survey, and I’m thrilled with the response! Your feedback has helped us ensure that this year’s show will be even better.

KOKO’s goal remains the same: to provide every student with the opportunity to showcase what they’ve learned, build confidence, and be part of something special.

I also recognise that participating in the Summer Show is a big commitment, both in time and cost, and I want to thank every single person who supports making these events possible. It truly takes a village to bring this experience to our dancers. I absolutely understand the challenges, and I want to assure you that I’m always striving to make it a valuable experience for every dancer and family involved, whilst adding as many bells and whistles as I can!

A Well-Organised Event

One thing that stood out last year was how organised everything was. Parents and students alike commented on the smoothness of the event, with feedback like:"It was great, very organised! Every bit of information was clear."

This year, I’m continuing that level of organisation, with all the details, schedules, and updates clearly communicated well in advance. You can feel confident knowing that everything is in place to make this event run smoothly.

Excitement and Confidence

Our students get so excited about the Summer Show, and it’s amazing to see them channel that enthusiasm into their performances. One parent shared:"She gets very excited, and if she had the chance, she’d tell the world!"

But it’s not just about excitement. The confidence that grows in each child as they prepare for the show is incredible. One parent reflected on how the rehearsal helped their child:"The performance rehearsal before put my child at ease so on the day they didn’t feel as nervous."

Seeing our students shine on stage and watching their confidence blossom is one of the most rewarding aspects of the Summer Show.

A Relaxed Performance for the Youngest Dancers

This year, I’m introducing a more relaxed performance for our youngest dancers in the Junior Show. I understand that being on stage can be nerve-wracking for our little ones, so I’ve designed this performance to be stress-free and fun. There will be a gentle introduction to the stage, with plenty of support during rehearsals and on the day. It’s all about giving them the experience without the pressure, so they can feel confident and enjoy the moment!

A Great Experience for Everyone

The Summer Show is all about showcasing the hard work and dedication of every child. No matter how big or small their part, everyone gets the chance to perform."It was fabulous. Everyone got to showcase what they've learnt, no matter how small it may have been."
